Northside concert band played Carols by the Sea at Coogee on Saturday accompanied by the local Choir. We had a great turnout from the local community all enjoying the festive spirit. As well as carols we played a selection of festive pop, rock, jazz and holiday tunes and it was great to see everyone enjoying the music and all the kids getting up and dancing.
The night finished with a flourish as we played the Hallelujah Chorus, with a crescendo on the final held note, the fireworks ignited at the perfect moment to punctuate the finale of the piece.
We would like to also thank the Combined Churches and the local council for having us again this year and we look forward to coming back next year.
